Building Strong Girls

Our philanthropic focus is 'building strong girls'. It is our mission as strong independent women to instill similar senses of independence, resiliency, and self-worth in girls. As women, we believe it is important to do our part to ensure that all girls have a safe place to develop in to strong women. Gamma Phi Beta has three philanthropic partners: Camp Fire, Girl Guides of Canada, and Girls on the Run.
We support our philanthropy in many ways. Each semester we have a philanthropy event on campus to raise money for our philanthropic partners and local charities. Additionally, we participate in the Martin Luther King Jr. Day of Service event in January every year. All of our members also regard philanthropy highly and commit much of their time during the school year to volunteering for different charities and causes in the Seattle-Tacoma area.

Gamma Phi Beta's Philanthropic Mission:
"As advocates for women, our organization envisions a community where every girl and woman has the skills to succeed in life. The Sorority’s new philanthropic focus expresses our philanthropic mission, to provide experiences and resources that build spiritual, mental and social resiliency in girls, in today’s world."
