One of our core values is learning and Gamma Phi Beta is committed to a high level of academic achievement. Our organization has consistently held the highest GPA average of all the other greek organizations on campus. Additionally, the Panhellenic GPA average is consistently higher than the all-undergraduate female average at the University of Puget Sound.  The women in Gamma Phi and the greater greek community on campus value academics and take pride in academic achievement.  
Gamma Phi Beta seeks to encourage scholastic achievement, Gamma Phis at Puget Sound are members of various Greek and non-Greek honor societies. Our organization has a scholarship program that provides incentives to members who meet our academic standards. We provide a positive atmosphere to further develop our scholarship efforts, and, to help support everyday academic achievements, our house offers study hours every week. Additionally, every semester we welcome a professor to the Big Green House for a home-cooked meal and we ask  them to lecture and lead a discussion on an area of academic interest. As members of Gamma Phi Beta, we put academics first and we hold ourselves to high standards of academic excellence.
